Our coaches/ trainers come with years of experience with training and competing in, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Many of our coaches have spent time training, and even competing in Thailand.

We offer different levels of classes designed for beginners to advanced students, even for our students that compete in full contact sport fighting. Our camp is home to some of the top Muay Thai athletes/ competitors in the Tampa Bay Area. Our athletes are consistently competing throughout the United States and Thailand.

Kru Matthew J McCusker Sityodtong
Professional fighter and Trainer out of Sityodtong Boston. Trained under the famous Muay Thai and striking coach Kru Mark DellaGrotte Sityodtong. Kru Matt has also spent time in Thailand training Muay Thai at the Legendary and world renowned Sityodtong Muay Thai Camp, in Pattaya Thailand. Kru Matt has been training and competing for the past 20 years with over 30 fights under his belt between amateur and professional fights in Muay Thai, MMA, kickboxing, sanshou, and boxing. Kru Matt is a certified Muay Thai instructor under Sityodtong Muay Thai Camp. Kru Matt now resides in Clearwater Florida, and is the head coach and Co owner of MJM Sityodtong Clearwater.

The “Lineage and Roots” of Sityodtong Muay Thai:
Sityodtong Muay Thai Camp, currently located on the outskirts of Pattaya Thailand, was first established in 1960 by the late Legendary Muay Thai Master, Kru Yodtong Senanan. In 1960, Kru Yodtong first opened up Sityodtong Muay Thai Camp in Mabtaput, which is in the province of Rayong, located south of Pattaya City. 15 years later, Kru Yodtong Senanan moved and expanded his Camp to to a bigger location in Naklu. Due to the large amount of students and fighters that Kru Yodtong gained, he again needed to move his camp to a much larger location. This time Kru Yodtong Senanan purchased several acres of land in the Banglamung province, which is just a few kilometers from Pattaya, and built Sityodtong Muay Thai Camp in its current location. Sityodtong Muay Thai Camp, since 1960, has created and produced over 57 World Champions including, Samart Payakaroon, Kongtoranee Payakaroon, Daotong Sityodtong, Chatchai Paiseetong, Yoddecha Sityodtong, Yodsanan Sityodtong, Yodteera Sityodtong, Neungpichit Sityodtong, Detpitak Sityodtong.
Sityodtong translates to, “Student, or school of Yodtong”.
Sit translates to, “ Student, or school”.
Yodtong translates to, “Flag that flys above all”.
Sityodtong = “School that flys above all”.
